Well, meh..

Selected Poems - Natalya Gorbanevskaya, Daniel Weisssbort, Daniel Weissbort

I admit that I am prejudiced against poetry, because I don't really like it. Except for Nikolaus Lenau and Allen Ginsberg I have hardly read any poems which I liked (or which I at least think I understood..). I am simply a prose loving person.

Natalya Gorbanevskaya's Selected Poems is a mixture of her poems (surprise..) ranging from 1956 to her year of death in 2008. I have known Gorbanevskaya due to her role in the Russian dissident movement in the late 1960's and 70's and I thought I should read some of her poetry.

Unfortunately I don't know how to access her work and I cannot even explain what I am missing here, I just cannot relate to her poems.
